Quality in Biedronka

One of our crucial goals arising from Biedronka mission is to focus on providing high quality products offered for our Customers. A special verification procedure was implemented for every product you can find in our stores and all products are under permanent control during the sales. Biedronka product monitoring process consists of the following:

• supplier appraisal – an audit complying with EU standards, that allows to evaluate our suppliers’ liability to ascertain adequate production conditions and repetitive quality of the products,
• detailed product assessment – laboratory and consumer examinations on  which the best quality products are selected (with the best look, taste and smell),
• product monitoring – periodic laboratory examinations of products being in sale, chosen at random from our stores and distribution centres,
• supplier monitoring – control visits in order to check plant sanitary and technical conditions of internal control of packaging, materials, production process and the finished product,
• Customer claim procedures – efficient system of reporting to the HQ of all claims from Customers, store staff and external institutions in order to eliminate faulty products from sales and prevent such situations in the future.

The above process guarantees Biedronka Customers the ‘unfailing quality at all times’ of each product available in our stores.
