Partnership for Health

Together with the Institute of Mother and Child and Danone and Lubella, we have established Partnership for Health. The result of it is the Mleczny Start porridge, which contains ingredients that are indispensable for proper development of schoolchildren. This is the first socially useful product in Poland that is sold without profit. In this manner, we would like to contribute to solving the problem of malnutrition among small children.

We Enter the Game

We would like to assist Poles not only in difficult moments, but also when they are happy. Therefore, from June 2010 we have been the Official Sponsor of the National Polish Football Representation. We will support Polish footballers both during the European Championship which will be held in Poland in 2012 and during eliminations for World Championship in 2014.

We Help to Help

We have been supporting charity actions organised by Caritas Polska for several years. Within the framework of this cooperation, on Children’s Day, the World Day of the Sick or December the 6th Gift Shower, we distribute specially prepared gifts among children. Making use of our publications, we promote donations for the foundation with respect to the so-called 1% of tax. This activity has been rewarded by a distinction called Ubi Caritas.

Advertisement for Children

Every year, we join the charity action of the Polish Television Advertisement for Children. Revenues from advertisements aired on Christmas Eve after the cartoons for children are wholly assigned to needy children. The funds will be provided to foundations and orphanages. They will also be used for financing medical treatment and rehabilitation of children and purchase of medical equipment.

Heart for Heart

We actively support construction of the first artificial heart chamber for children. This device will enable many small patients waiting for heart transplants, as well as will be used to treat dangerous post-operation complications. Thanks to “Biedronka’s” support in 2010, the project has entered its implementation phase – the moment when first children will be saved is very near.
